Hi,   I'm   P.A.

my story

If I could use one word to describe 2020, it would be: ๐—–๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜†.

I know. Not the word you were thinking, right? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I could definitely use ALL the bad words to describe 2020 as well, but despite it all, it truly has been a year of blessing and clarity of purpose. I took stock of the goals I made at the beginning of the year (I don’t do resolutions anymore) and I’m pretty amazed by everything I managed to achieve despite 2020:

โ€ข I lost 55.4 lbs (aka the rest of the baby weight AND getting below a number I haven’t been able to crack in 12 years! Btw, my goal was to lose 30 lbs.

โ€ข Got to spend more time with my beautiful daughter and amazing husband.

โ€ข Consistently doubled the time I spent in morning devotions over the last year.

โ€ข Saved enough to buy investment property and a second home.

โ€ข Made career moves that moved me closer to what I want to do in life and laid the foundations for my coaching and consulting business (which I’m doing in addition to my day job).

โ€ข Implemented more self-care.

All this was possible in what could be described as the worst year in modern history because at the beginning of the year, I didn’t make resolutions. Resolutions don’t work because they’re too vague. I mean, it took me 12 years to get below a certain weight even though, without fail, one of my resolutions every year was “lose weight.” Sound familiar?

Instead, I set a vision and concrete goals and put quarterly action plans into place that allowed me to pivot when necessary while steadily moving towards my ultimate vision. Taking time out at the beginning of the year to do this simple activity yielded so many benefits and kept me on track. And in some cases, I exceeded my goals considerably.

So, in order to set up 2021 for success, I’m thinking of putting on a short Virtual Vision Board & Goal Setting Workshop either the first or second weekend in January (Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 or Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021) where we’ll:

โ€ข Walk through visioning exercises to create a vision for 2021.

โ€ข Use this vision to set ๐™จ๐™ข๐™–๐™ง๐™ฉ goals for the year.

โ€ข Break down those goals into quarterly action plans with done-for-you templates.

โ€ข Create a virtual vision board to remind you of your goals and keep you on track.
